Farmers apply fertilizer at the beginning of the season, mainly using composted cow manure, pig manure, and chicken manure. When the tree grows and bears fruit, farmers fertilize it with chicken manure and organic multi-micronutrient fertilizers.
During growth process, durian trees are protected with humic fertilizers along with the use of plant protection: treatment with antagonistic microbial solutions every 15 days.
The water system is led into the garden in small canals, each row of trees has a water ditch next to it to ensure enough water for the trees throughout the growing process.
As for weeding, because this is a 15-year-old garden, grass is limited to growing only on the edges and does not affect the trees. Products are harvested by fruit, farmers will check each fruit to cut when the fruit is 90 days old or older.
Products are transported to Hanoi and pre-processed and packaged at a factory with international ISO certification.
